Capitalize names of degrees when referring to a specific degree: Bachelor of Arts or Master of Science. Do not capitalize when referring to the degree in general: She holds a master’s degree. or He earned a doctorate in psychology.
Do not capitalize fields of study when referring to them in general: She is studying forensic science.
